Summer Camp with Destination Theatre is a combination of theatre education and ensemble building fun for students K-12! Our professional teaching artists guide campers through singing, acting, dancing, improvisation, and plenty of games and activities galore! Camp is perfect for kids already excited to perform or those ready to dip their toes into musical theatre for the very first time.

GEORGIA SUMMER CAMPS

JUNE 8-12, 2026

Broadway Bootcamp is open to all students (Grades 4-12) in and around the Franklin County area! Join us for a week filled with musical theatre magic galore. Our working theatre professionals will train students in acting, dance, and music, and by the end of the week - you’ll be the STARS of our theatrical showcase!

    Broadway Bound: Rising K-2

    In this camp, students will explore the magic of singing, acting, and dancing! Through fun games and exercise, our campers will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of musical theatre. After a week together, students will have learned how to express themselves creatively, practiced working together as an ensemble, and developed their skills as a performer - which will all culminate in a performance at the end of the week!

    This program is perfect for kiddos with a creative spark or looking for a fun activity to bring them out of their shells!

     

    Musical Superstars: Rising 3-5

    In this camp, students will explore the magic of singing, acting, and dancing, by rotating through exciting classes all day long! Through fun games and exercise, our campers will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of musical theatre. After a week together, students will have learned how to express themselves creatively, practiced working together as an ensemble, and developed their skills as a performer - which will all culminate in a performance at the end of the week!

    This program is perfect for kiddos with a flair for the stage or looking for a fun week to bring them out of their shells!

     

    Destination Broadway: Rising 6-8

    Join us for a week-long theatre training camp. In this camp, students can expect to hone their skills in acting, singing, dancing, and more. Students will rotate through each subject daily, work with industry professionals, and most importantly gain an understanding of the power of theatre. We believe after a week of theatre training, campers will walk away with new-found confidence, personal and theatrical breakthroughs, and meaningful relationships.

    This camp is perfect for anyone wanting to take theatre to the next level or jump into the waters of performing arts for the first time!

  • What should my camper bring each day?

    Campers should bring their lunch, a snack, and a water bottle. 

    Campers will be given a folder with music and a script that they should continue to bring each day.

    Campers should wear comfortable clothes they can easily move in and shoes that will stay securely on their feet.

    How does drop-off and pick-up work?

    Campers can be dropped off from 8:45-9:00am. Simply pull through the carpool line and drop your student off. We’ll send them off to meet their teachers. 

    Campers can be picked up at 3:00pm. Pull through the carpool line and your camper will meet you at your vehicle. Please note that Marist School offers after-care, if you would like to use that.

    Can I get out of my car in the carpool line?

    Everyone must stay in their car when waiting for their camper in the carpool line. Camp staff will meet you at your car, in case you have any questions or need to talk with someone.

    How will the performances work at the end of camp?

    We will be excited to share your camper’s hard work at the end of the week! Performances will take place on the final day of camp. More information on the final performance will be communicated during the week of camp.

  • Destination Vacation: Immersive Theatre

  • June 22-26: Destination Vacation: Immersive Theatre Camp (K-2nd)

    As campers take their first step into the room, they will be transported to their very own Medieval Kingdom, where their theater coaches will perform a knighting ceremony fit for a royal court! These freshly minted knights will then spend a week creating their own characters, setting and story. To close the week off, they will welcome their family/adults to come experience an immersive theater event in their camp rooms, as they perform their own original show for them on Friday afternoon.

    July 13-17: Destination Broadway (K-2nd, 3rd-5th)

    Explore the magic of singing, acting, and dancing! Campers will prepare their own short musical and in the process, learn to express themselves creatively, work together as an ensemble, and develop skills as a music theatre performer. This program is perfect for creative kiddos or those brand-new to the stage!

    July 13-17: Tech Titans (4th +)

    Want to understand the "why" behind everything? Love figuring out how to make technology work? Come "backstage" and dive into set construction, costume design, prop creation, sound board programming and light operation. Atlanta theatre professionals are excited to coach our campers who're more comfortable behind the scenes than on stage.

    Rising Kindergarten: Experience the magic of theatre! Destination Broadway Junior is for kids who want to learn how to sing, act, dance, and use their imagination with others. Students will perform an original musical showcase at the end of the week, complete with choreography and music galore! Throughout the week, students will grow their confidence and creativity. Come practice acting, self-expression, and character creation through musical theatre!

    July 6-17 (2 Weeks, M-F)

    Midway is joining forces with Destination Theatre to bring a unique summer program to Lansing! In two weeks, we'll put on a full-length Junior show! Actors will prepare an entire musical, culminating in a Friday night performance for friends and family.

    What are your Covid-19 safety procedures?

    We will follow all of Midway’s Covid-19 policies. They will continue to be updated as camp gets closer.

    Are Destination Staff members vaccinated?

    All Destination Staff members (including contracted teachers) are fully vaccinated.

    How will you handle hand sanitization?

    Campers and staff will sanitize upon arriving to camp, when changing locations/classes, as well as other points throughout the day. Campers will wash hands before and after eating. Campers are welcome to bring their own hand sanitizer as well.

    What other safety measures are you taking?

    Camp supplies will be thoroughly sanitized at the end of each class.

    We will follow all of Mi Covid-19 policies.

BOULDER, CO

Theatre camp is much more than teaching jazz squares and correct notes. It’s a place where kids can grow more confident onstage, express themselves through vivid characters, learn new techniques, make friends, and most importantly- have fun!
