Xandy Poole - Outreach Coordinator
Xandy Poole is a multi-hyphenated artist born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She is writer, director, producer, singer-songwriter, rapper, teaching artist, event producer, activist, DJ, actor, cat mom- and overachiever! Through her organization, The BlackOUT Company, Xandy has demonstrated a passion for uplifting creative work for and by marginalized creatives. She has been awarded at the Kennedy Center for her direction of An Octoroon (Branden Jacob-Jenkins) and Hir (Taylor Mac), as well as for her acting as Agnes in She Kills Monsters and Sylvia in Game of Love and Chance. Some of her other directing highlights include STOP KISS by Diana Son, Chill. the Series, and her favorite musical: Chicago! Xandy is excited to continue bridging artistic expression with creating safe, diverse spaces with Destination Theatre!
