About the Show

Destination Theatre returns to the Village Theater stage for our annual mid-summer musical with a full-scale, adult production of the 1972 Broadway favorite Grease. Later transformed into the smash hit 1978 movie and today's revised Broadway version, the original brings to life on stage all the memorable characters and classic songs including "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightning," "Beauty School Dropout" and "We Go Together."

In the tradition of our previous mid-summer shows — 2006's Journey Through Broadway and last year's blockbuster High School MusicalGrease showcases some of the area's most talented high-school and young adult performers in this landmark show. Don't miss it!

Content Advisory: This is the unedited version of the original 1972 Broadway production, and includes some mild yet candid high-school language and themes (smoking, alcohol use and sexual references). Parental discretion is advised.
